While this would look 1 million times better at stock height, on the stock chassis with black Soft 8's and some semi- aggressive all terrains/street tires. I would DD 10/10

That's kind of the thing. It'd be possible to lift just a bit and get something that looked good, or get a better tire/wheel match, and the current combo doesn't work at all, but at the same time, I kind of like the paint and really like the base car.
OTOH, hipster doofus and his washing machine.

I like the paint and the style, but with a ranchero , I would much rather see them at stock height and this style than jacked on a bronco chassis with this style.

Lifted works better with a later Ranchero (box on big wheels) or with an early Ranchero (50's truck: suspiciously car-like), but with the deliberate "sleek"/sled look of the Falcochero it's a morass of visual opposites.

The long-and-low look isn't spoiled if it's just a few inches on skinny tires, because that preserves the overall sleek look and rounded-rectangle styling cues. Sand tires = hell to the no.

Defiantly! Loved the version of the falcon that raced at Monte Carlo. when i learned about that, it secured it as a definite that I would own one ASAP.

Because I'm a loon, I want adjustable height suspension on mine, so "what works with a lift and what doesn't" is a topic of interest. Looking at toggling between about -2" and +3"/4".

This sounds completely appropriate, Perhaps because I am also a loon.
